How to send a photo on WhatsApp
Sending a photo of the grandchildren, a meal or a document to a loved one takes just a few seconds on WhatsApp.
On an Android phone
- 1Open WhatsApp: the green icon with a white phone.
- 2Tap the name of the person you want to send the photo to.
- 3At the bottom, tap the paperclip 📎, then "Gallery".
- 4Choose the photo.
- 5Tap the green button with an arrow to send it.
On an iPhone
- 1In the conversation, tap the "+" to the left of the typing box.
- 2Tap "Photos", choose the photo, then tap the blue arrow to send it.
Good to know: You can write a short note under the photo before sending it, in the "Add a caption" box.
