What you should never share with an AI
AI is handy, but what you write to it may be kept by the company that makes it. A few simple rules protect your information.
- Never your codes: card PIN, password, code received by text message. Nobody needs them, not the AI and not your bank.
- Never your important numbers: bank card, social security number, passport, bank details.
- Before sending a photo of a letter, hide your name, address and reference numbers (a piece of paper laid on top is enough).
- Avoid details about your loved ones' health or money.
Good to know: The rule to remember: only write to an AI what you could say out loud in a waiting room.
